An Organizational Unit (OU) is a feature on our platform that allows you to divide your organization into different units. This can be done by going to the "Configuration" tab and then selecting "Organizational Structure." The OUs are displayed in a hierarchical folder structure, allowing you to group your charging stations, locations, and users.


This feature is useful for separating different business units or locations and displaying only the data relevant to that unit. It is important to note that OUs can only look "down" in the folder structure and not "up."


Once you have added an OU, you can fill in various fields, including "Basics," "Financials," and "External." The information you add to financials and external will be reflected in the various exports or via the API. This can be useful for grouping separate OUs that have a common denominator, such as a network connection, under one umbrella. See here for more information.


To add a charging station, you can select "Charging Stations" in the menu and then proceed to add the station. See here for more information.
